- Discusses Touseytown, settlement of Tousey Family, on pp. 49-57
- Gives dates of death for Zerah (1831), Moses (1834), and Thomas (1839)
- Notes that “Lawrenceburg, Indiana, was a gateway for river travel to the west. Many Boone Countians ferried over to Lawrenceburg in order to travel downriver to Louisville, St. Louis and farther destinations” (p. 53). Moses acquired the ferry license in 1807 (or 1826?), but it was eventually sold to Piatt family, who operated another nearby ferry, in 1842. The tobacco inspection business and warehouse was established in 1826.
