Bodley Family

William Stewart Bodley (1806-1877) was married to Ellen Pearce (m. 1835).

Ellen’s sister Jimmie Pindell (James Ann Pindell) (1826-1912) was married to Henry Clay Pindell, who heard the initial hearing in Wood v. Ward in the June 1853 term of the Fayette County Circuit Court.¹

Ellen’s other sister Eliza Pearce married George B. Kinkead, who was the lawyer for Henrietta Wood in the Fayette County portion of Wood v. Ward in the 1850s.
